The church ceremony is 0.7 miles from the reception venue. It is a 15-minute walk on mostly flat surfaces or a 3-minute drive.

At San Carlos Cathedral, there is a large parking lot across the street near the Parish Center with free parking. The entrance is on Church St. and Figueroa St. There are also few spaces for street parking (accessible and non-accessible) directly in front of the church on Church St. Nearby streets like Laurel St. and Webster St. have metered parking with rates around $1.00-$1.50/hour.

At Memory Garden, guests can park in the Wharf parking lot on Del Monte Ave. or the Heritage Harbor Parking Structure at Pacific St. and Scott St. The Wharf parking lot costs $1.75 per hour, with a daily max of $12.00. The Heritage Harbor Parking Structure cost $1.00/half hour or $15.00 daily max. There are also larger parking garages at the downtown East or West parking garages on Tyler St. and Del Monte Ave. Rates are $1.75/hour or $12-13 daily max. This garage is about 0.2 miles or a 5-minute walk to Memory Garden.

The wedding is semi-formal. Please keep in mind that the reception is at an outdoor venue with a fine gravel ground. The weather in Monterey is predicted to be cool at night after sunset, therefore, it is recommended to bring a light jacket and dress accordingly.

Yes, there is a ramp entrance for guests with walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers at both venues. A reminder that while the reception is on flat ground, there is fine gravel and some uneven surfaces.

Because this is a regional airport, there are a limited number of flights and airlines that fly in and out of here. For a more flight options, you may consider flying into/out of San Jose Mineta International Airport. This airport is about 75 miles from Monterey or an 1 hour and 20-minute drive.
